What it does

Fabric Cost Analysis (FCA) is a Microsoft solution accelerator for monitoring and optimizing the cost of Microsoft Fabric. It joins financial and operational data, drawing on Azure Cost Management and your own enrichment, to give a holistic, Fabric-specific view of cost, capacity usage, reservations, and quotas, and to support FinOps practices like chargeback and showback. It is built entirely on Fabric, using pipelines, notebooks, a lakehouse, Direct Lake, and a multi-page Power BI report with a data agent.

Why use it

Use it to understand what is driving your Fabric and capacity spend, optimize resources, and report cost back to stakeholders, from a high-level summary down to detailed usage, quotas, and reservations.

Getting started

Follow the deployment guide in the repository, or deploy it through Fabric Jumpstart. FCA is a community solution accelerator from Microsoft CSAs, not an official Microsoft product, and comes with no official support.
